B5 Current Heterodox Approaches

Hobart and William Smith Colleges invite applications for a visiting position at the Assistant Professor level beginning July 1, 2022. Candidates should have earned a Ph.D. or be ABD. Specialization in heterodox approaches with a particular emphasis on political economy is required. Teaching responsibilities include five courses per year consisting of one or two sections of a required political economy core course, an elective course on political economy, and other courses to meet departmental needs. Recent Ph.D.s and those from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.

Candidates should send a letter of application, c.v., evidence of teaching effectiveness, a statement describing how you create an inclusive classroom, and arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent to Job Openings for Economists.
