The Department of Resource Economics invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Statistics/Applied Econometrics. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate courses in introductory statistics for business and economics. An ability to teach in both face-to-face and online education formats to students is highly desirable. The successful applicant will become part of a team that teach the Department’s introductory statistics courses in a blended online/team-based learning model and will be expected to teach a 3-3 load. Applicants are required to have a graduate degree (Ph.D. is preferred) in agricultural/resource/applied economics, economics, statistics or a related field as of June 1, 2022. The Department of Resource Economics has 26 faculty, over 400 undergraduate majors and about 25 graduate students (primarily Ph.D.). We place special emphases on faculty-student interaction and cooperation among faculty. We share a fundamental commitment to teach and attract a diverse student body.

Graduate degree (Ph.D. is preferred) in agricultural or resource economics, statistics, economics, or related field as of June 1, 2022 and expertise in applied statistics or econometrics.
