DTU Management, DTU has 1-2 vacancies at the level Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in Applied Microeconomics. This is a six-year tenure track position with a mid-term review after three years. The expected start date is Fall 2022. The Assistant Professor appointments aim to strengthen the research in economics within the Department. The appointment comes with a heavy focus on research supplemented by selected attractive tasks such as teaching and scientific advice to authorities and the industry.

The positions are open to any field of applied microeconomics including, but not limited to, Behavioural, Environmental, Family, Health, Labour, Urban and Public Economics, and Economic History. Candidates are expected to have experiences in conducting empirical research, for example conducting and analyzing lab or field experiments, analyzing natural experiments or using register data. Preferably, the successful candidate will engage in policy-relevant research that complements research interests of the department in the fields of environment, health, climate and transport.

Applicants must have, or be close to obtaining, a PhD degree in Economics.
