The Department of Economics and Business at the Colorado School of Mines (Mines) invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position in Mineral and Metal Resources for the Global Energy Transition with specializations in any of the following areas: 1) Economics of and public policy related to mineral, metal, and materials markets to support resilient, adaptable, and environmentally and socially sustainable supply chains of mineral resources and related materials; 2) Innovative exploration approaches for natural mineral and metal resources for environmentally and socially sustainable production; and 3) Recycling and reuse technologies advancing recovery of mineral and metal resources from mining, industrial, materials manufacturing, and consumer waste streams. Mines is a great place to engage in education and research in each of these areas as they relate to our Earth, Energy and Environment mission.
