Princeton University and the African School of Economics (ASE) are seeking a postdoctoral research associate or more senior researcher to participate in a project on experiments and institutions. The project is part of the research portfolio of the Institutional Experimentation Lab (IEL) funded by the Dean for Research of Princeton University. The IEL aims to advance empirical and theoretical research on decision-making processes in public and private organizations and on the causal effects of institutions.

We are looking for candidates with a PhD (or a finishing PhD candidate) in economics, management, political economy, or related areas with expertise either in game theory, particularly mechanism design, or experimental methods and machine learning. The term of this appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal based upon satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
