The Economics and Business department at Moravian University, accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics. Candidates specializing in applied microeconomics with two or more specializations in each of the following teaching and research fields are preferred: Econometrics, Industrial Organization, and Labor Economics. A Ph.D. in Economics or a related field is required; advanced ABDs will be considered.


The Economics & Business Department advances the values of the liberal arts and professional education through the traditions of Moravian University. The Department offers programs in accounting, economics, and management. The Economics major includes undergraduate tracks in Economic Theory and Policy and in Finance. Graduate degrees offered within the department include an MBA, MSHRM, MHA, and MS in Data Analytics.
