The Department of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Professor or Teaching Associate Professor of Economics position. The top candidates will be teaching specialists and will have a proven record of teaching excellence in economics courses and a passion for undergraduate teaching. We have identified particular curricular needs in courses related to macroeconomics (e.g. Principles of Macro, Intermediate Macro, Money and Banking), but we encourage applications from any instructor who can complement the existing strengths of current Department members. This position is renewable based on performance, with an initial appointment of up to three years. The Department has a history of welcoming and valuing long-term instructors. The expected teaching load is six semester courses per year. Review of applications will begin on December 15, 2021 and initial interviews will be conducted remotely in early January.
