The Department of Economics at William & Mary, a public university, invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer of Economics position beginning August 10, 2022. The initial appointment will be for two-years, with subsequent renewal contingent on a successful performance review, department needs, and funding availability. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective instructor with a 3-3 teaching load. A Masters degree in Economics or related field is required. A Ph.D. by the time the appointment begins is preferred.

We value demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching in a highly selective liberal arts environment. We seek an individual who is prepared to teach rigorous courses—primarily principles of economics, microeconomic and/or macroeconomic theory, statistics and/or econometrics, and classes in fields of their specialization. We particularly value experience teaching a wide range of different courses.
