The Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University seeks applicants for a position of Lecturer beginning July 1, 2022. The Lecturer will focus on teaching core courses in public policy analysis and methodologies used by social science practitioners, primarily at the undergraduate level. Candidates must have a PhD in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics or a policy-relevant discipline; at least four years post-PhD experience; and excellent teaching references at the college or university level. We seek applicants who have an applied policy focus in their teaching, research, and/or other professional activities; excellent writing skills; an ability to teach large introductory classes, and successfully train and mentor teaching assistants and writing coaches; and whose primary interest is teaching and mentoring students.
