The department of Econometrics and Data Science at the School of Business and Economics of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam invites applications for postdoc positions.

You contribute to the department’s reputation for excellence in research and teaching by publishing in the top academic journals in econometrics, statistics, and data science. You like to create a stimulating learning environment for students in these areas at all levels (BSc, MSc, PhD, Executive) in course work and thesis supervision.

We offer a challenging position in an active econometric methodology research group that aims to empower students with the quantitative skills needed for the future. Post-docs are for an initial 2 years, and can possibly be extended by another 2 years.


Requirements:
- a PhD degree, specializing in econometric methodology, statistics, data science, or a related field;
- excellent evaluations in teaching courses in these areas;
- a strong research potential, preferably evidenced by publications, and an interest in the development of theory and methodology in econometrics and data science.
