Microsoft Research NYC posting for postdoctoral researcher with interdisciplinary interests centered around machine learning/AI to start in July 2022. This two-year position is an ideal opportunity for an emerging scholar whose work bridges ML/AI with other research themes at MSR-NYC, which includes economics & computation and computational social science, along with: fairness/accountability/transparency/ethics in AI, AI for systems.

Postdocs have the opportunity to pursue their own research agenda while interacting with prominent researchers and practitioners. Researchers at MSR-NYC include Solon Barocas, Alexandra Chouldechova, Kate Crawford, Hal Daumé III, Miroslav Dudík, Dan Goldstein, Jake Hofman, Sham Kakade, Akshay Krishnamurthy, John Langford, Dipendra Misra, Ida Momennejad, Lekan Molu, David Rothschild, Robert Schapire, Siddhartha Sen, Alex Slivkins, Jenn Wortman Vaughan, Hanna Wallach, Cyril Zhang.
