RTI International’s Health Economics Program seeks mid- to senior-level researchers with interests in health economics, and behavioral health economics especially desirable. The program conducts research in the areas of substance abuse, mental health, chronic and infectious diseases, and prevention and treatment policy. Required research skills include a strong understanding of research design and ability to apply advanced econometrics methods. Experience with simulation modeling in the context of economic evaluation, a history of successful studies that have led to publication, and experience obtaining grants or study funding are also desirable. Opportunities for new and experienced PhDs. Applicants should have a PhD by September 2022 and have strong analytic skills, outstanding communication skills, and a desire to lead and contribute to applied empirical analyses. Position may be located in Research Triangle Park, NC or any U.S. location as a telecommuter.
