Saint Michael’s College seeks applicants for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Macroeconomics beginning in fall 2022. The college seeks teacher-scholars who demonstrate passion and effectiveness in undergraduate teaching while being active in various forms of peer-reviewed scholarship. Core teaching responsibilities at the upper levels will include International Economics, Macro Theory, and Development, along with Principles of Macro and Principles of Micro at the introductory level. The ideal candidate would also be able to teach Environmental Economics. As the college emphasizes opportunities for undergraduates to conduct research, the ideal candidate will be able to advise and mentor students with both empirical and broader interdisciplinary interest in topics related to international economics and development. The Department welcomes research inquiry across sub-fields and schools of thought. Saint Michael’s College is a private, Catholic liberal arts college in the suburbs of scenic Burlington, Vermont. Teaching load is 6 courses per academic year.
