The Ralph O’Connor Sustainable Energy Institute (energyinstitute.jhu.edu) at the Johns Hopkins University seeks junior or senior faculty candidates who apply control systems, optimization, network science, market simulation, or statistics/forecasting to renewable energy system economics, operations, investment, and policy; smart cities; or multi-sectoral linkages. Applications from candidates with other relevant expertise also welcomed.

This position provides an opportunity to develop a world-class program in energy systems or market modeling as part of the Institute, whose purpose is to place JHU in the forefront of sustainable energy research and policy. Appointments will be to the appropriate school and department. The search committee includes representatives from applied mathematics, engineering, economics, and international studies.
