Chapin Hall is an independent policy research center at the University of Chicago established in 1985 that provides public and private decision-makers with rigorous research and achievable solutions to support them in improving the lives of children, families, and communities. Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago is seeking a full-time Researcher/Senior Researcher who will manage the design and implementation of research projects. This may include design and implementation of empirical approach, execution and review of quantitative data preparation and analysis, and management of research teams and partners. This individual will be expected to collaborate in the development of proposals that extend current work and/or leverage team experience and resources towards impact in social policy; this will include opportunities to develop specific research projects and support in seeking funding for those activities.
Qualifications:
A Ph.D. or equivalent experience/expertise in economics, public policy, sociology, or other relevant fields.
