Health economists collaborate with senior staff to design rigorous methods for evaluating programs and policies, conduct analyses, draft reports, present findings to policy and professional audiences, and publish in professional journals. A qualified researcher should have strong analytic and quantitative skills and possess a Ph.D. in economics or a related field by fall 2022. They should also have a strong interest in working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that emphasizes quality, rigor, critical thinking, objectivity, diversity and inclusion and professional development. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Experience in policy research is a plus.

Qualifications:
• Ph.D. or equivalent in economics, public health, epidemiology, public policy, health services research, social sciences, or other relevant discipline.
• Strong foundation in quantitative research methods and a broad understanding of health policy issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to translate research findings for a policy audience.
• Ability to work well in teams.
