The Department of Economics, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, York University invites highly qualified candidates to apply for a professorial stream tenure-track appointment in Applied Microeconomic Theory at the Assistant Professor level, to commence July 1, 2022. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. All York University positions are subject to budgetary approval.

A PhD (or a PhD near completion) in Economics is required, with a demonstrated record of excellence, or promise of excellence, in research and in teaching. Applicants should have a clearly articulated program of research in pure and applied microeconomic theory and game theory. The successful candidate’s research program will contribute to our research strengths and reputation, with the expectation for national and international research leadership.
