The Department of Health Systems Administration is accepting applications for an educator-line faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Competitive applicants will have professional achievements and scholarly work in one or more of the following areas: organizational leadership, quality and safety, operations, planning and marketing, data science, and population health analytics.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of 11 core faculty with collective expertise in population health management, health policy, epidemiology, healthcare finance and economics, health services research, public health, global health, health equity, and healthcare consulting. The Department offers an undergraduate degree in Health Care Management and Policy and a graduate degree in Health Systems Administration. Both programs are fully-accredited and emphasize: a population health approach in how services are organized, delivered and financed; a systems thinking, interdisciplinary approach to health policy and health systems administration.

Requirements

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in health services research, health services administration, public health, or a related field. Teaching experience in hybrid modalities preferred. Board certification in healthcare management or other related specialty areas is strongly recommended. Experience with CAHME accreditation and/or broader accreditation processes is highly desired.
