Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Economics Department at the University of Iowa is searching for an assistant professor in microeconomic theory. We have a highly productive group of senior scholars in microeconomic theory and are looking to add junior scholars who can interact with our existing faculty and show the potential to grow into world-class scholars and educators. We are particularly interested in scholars who can interact with the broader economics and business school communities, and are open to theorists with applied interests in fields such as industrial organization, the economics of organizations, or public economics. We are also open to applications from experimental economists whose work strongly overlaps with microeconomic theory. We are interested either in new PhDs or scholars who have experience as an assistant professor. Successful candidates will be expected to teach core courses in microeconomic theory for our PhD program, and to contribute to either our undergraduate or MBA programs.
