The Else School of Management at Millsaps College invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant level beginning August 1, 2022. Applicants should hold or be near completion of a Ph.D. in economics. Instructional needs include principles of economics, intermediate macroeconomics and international economics, intended for an undergraduate or MBA audience in a face-to-face format.

The Else School of Management supports teaching, service and research goals by maintaining a balanced faculty load commensurate with expectations of excellence in teaching and research. The undergraduate and graduate programs have gained a distinction through the faculty’s commitment to quality teaching and research, experiential learning, international emphasis, and close student-faculty involvement.

Located in Jackson, the commercial, governmental and cultural center of Mississippi, Millsaps is a selective nationally recognized liberal arts college with both AACSB accreditation and a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. The Else School of Management offers BBA, MBA, EMBA and MAcc degrees. The normal teaching load for a tenure track professor is five courses per year. Salary is competitive.
