The Centre for Mathematical and Computational Economics at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur invites applications from qualified individuals for Assistant Professor/Associate Professor positions in the following areas: economic theory, game theory and algorithms, econometric theory, experimental economics, computational finance.


CMCE is a specialized unit within School of AI and Data Science, IIT Jodhpur for research and teaching in specific areas of economic theory and its interactions with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. See more: https://cmceiitj.wordpress.com/

Responsibilities of the position include producing high-quality academic research publishable in leading journals, and teaching in the current minor program in Mathematical and Computational Economics, BTech/ MTech and planned PhD program in Economics. The teaching load per academic year is 2 Undergraduate and 1 Graduate course.

IIT Jodhpur provides generous start-up research funding to new faculty and international mobility grant to foster academic collaborations.
