The Division of Business Administration and Economics at Saint Mary’s College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics in the area of microeconomics beginning in August 2022. Candidates must hold an earned doctorate by that date (PhD in Economics preferred, ABD considered). We seek candidates who have a passion for undergraduate teaching. We are especially interested in candidates who have demonstrated excellence in teaching Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, and other upper level Economics courses. The teaching load is 3-3 over a two-semester academic year.

Saint Mary’s College, with an enrollment of approximately 1500 students, is a Catholic, residential women’s college committed to the liberal arts tradition. Located in South Bend, Indiana, adjacent to the University of Notre Dame, and 90 miles east of Chicago, Saint Mary’s has consistently been ranked among the top 100 liberal arts colleges in the US News and World Report annual surveys. The Division of Business Administration and Economics offers a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, and Business Administration (with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management Information Systems and Marketing), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
