Post-Doctoral Fellowships in Economics at Columbia University working under the supervision of Professor Joseph E. Stiglitz
One or more postdoctoral fellowships in economics are being offered through Columbia University to be supervised by Professor Joseph E. Stiglitz. The Fellows will conduct their own research on a broad range of topics, including research in inequality; macroeconomics, research advancing our understanding of the explanations of deep downturns and structural transformations, macro-economic externalities, financial market and other market interlinkages, etc.; macroeconomic and structural implications of the pandemic; the role expectations for macroeconomic fluctuations and crises; sovereign debt crises resolution; and artificial intelligence and its effects on macroeconomic dynamics, distribution and long-run growth. The fellowships will last up to one year in duration and the Fellows will participate in the research community at Columbia.
Compensation and Application Process
The salary, benefits, and research funds for the position will be competitive with other postdoctoral fellowships.
