The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is seeking to fill one or more positions for Economists in its Office of Research. The Office of Research is an interdisciplinary group of economists and other researchers who study a wide range of topics, including consumer decision making, household financial choices, and markets for consumer financial services. Economists conduct independent research and provide analytical support in the areas of policy development, regulations, consumer education and engagement, bank and non-bank supervision, fair lending, and enforcement, all in support of the Bureau's mission of improving consumers' financial well-being.

We are seeking motivated candidates who will thrive in a dynamic work environment. Candidates should possess strong research skills as well as an interest in working in interdisciplinary teams of researchers, industry practitioners, and attorneys.
