The Department of Economics (https://www.lsu.edu/business/economics/) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin in Fall 2022. New and prospective PhDs, as well as senior Assistant Professors are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a solid research record or promise for the development of a strong research agenda. The successful applicant will teach a graduate course in labor economics theory using Cahuc, Carcillo and Zylberberg’s Labor Economics. Candidates should have strong state-of-the-art empirical skills. Junior candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics by August 2022. The Department has a strong research orientation and offers B.A., B.S., M.S, and Ph.D. degrees in Economics. First interviews will be held online via Zoom in early January.
