The Department of Economics at Emory University seeks to hire several economists as part of its planned expansion. Emory University is located in Atlanta, Georgia, one of the most attractive and cosmopolitan cities in the U.S., and is consistently ranked among the best institutions in the U.S. and is home to many first-rate programs. Among various searches, we would like to fill one tenure-track position at the rank of Associate Professor in Applied Microeconomics, with interest in the fields of public economics, health economics, or labor economics. We are also inviting applications by advanced Assistant Professors at the cusp of tenure. We are seeking an established scholar who is a thought leader with a worldwide reputation and relevant research agenda, mentorship, and cutting-edge scholarship. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D., a distinguished record of scholarly activities and accomplishments as evidenced by publications in leading journals, an active research agenda, and an established record of excellence in teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels.
