Job Description:
The Department of Public Administration and Policy is seeking to hire a tenure-track assistant professor in public policy and/or applied microeconomics, starting Fall 2022. We welcome applications from candidates specializing in any public policy area.
Faculty in Rockefeller College are expected to pursue an active research program, teach and supervise undergraduate and graduate students, and engage in service activities. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in scholarly research and should be an effective teacher. All applicants should address their ability to work with culturally diverse populations in their application.

Requirements:
• Applicants must have a completed doctoral degree from a program accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization by September 1, 2022.
• Applicants are expected to teach a 2-2 load, likely consisting of two sections of masters-level microeconomics, one section of statistics (either masters or undergraduate), and a public policy elective.
• Effective teacher able to instruct both graduate and undergraduate students, and in both in-person and online formats.
• Willingness to participate and collaborate in department activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively - orally and in writing - to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse population.

Professional Rank and Salary Range: Assistant Professor, Competitive
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Starting date is August 22, 2022.
