Job Announcement
The Department of Economics and Finance at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Economics. While candidates from all fields are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to candidates who can assist the teaching needs of the department in the following areas: money and banking and quantitative methods of business. The expected starting date is fall 2022. Salary and benefits are AACSB-competitive. Hiring decisions are subject to final budgetary approval.

Required Qualifications
Successful candidates must demonstrate the potential to publish in high-tier journals and must provide strong evidence of quality instruction. Candidates must complete their Ph.D. in Economics prior to the start date, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also important.
