The Department of Economics is recruiting tenure-track junior and senior faculty members. We will consider strong candidates from all fields, but those working in Macroeconomics are particularly encouraged. Junior candidates are expected to demonstrate a high potential for innovative research. Senior candidates should additionally have a successful publication record in leading economic journals.

The University of Haifa has over 18,000 students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. Teaching responsibilities include developing graduate and undergraduate courses and supervising MA and PhD students. Prior knowledge of Hebrew is not required but a successful applicant is encouraged to have a strong command within three years of appointment.

Applicants should submit their cover letter, curriculum vitae, job-market paper, teaching evaluations, and additional research papers. Junior applicants should additionally arrange for three recommendation letters. Senior applicants should submit the names of at least three references. All materials should be submitted via the AEA job website.
