Tufts University’s Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning Department is seeking a part‐time lecturer for one virtual section of Quantitative Reasoning for Policy and Planning in Fall 2021. The course will be taught every other Saturday, 9am-1pm.

This core course prepares students to read and interpret statistical analyses and to conduct basic statistical analyses of data on their own. Using real examples from planning and policy issues, the course emphasizes analytical tools used to describe data, generate estimates, and test hypotheses. Students learn how to use STATA software and existing data sources to conduct quantitative analyses. Past syllabi are available for review upon request.
