We seeking a post-doctoral fellow with strong empirical skills, to work with Professor Bernard Black at Northwestern (Law School of Law and Kellogg School of Management; http://ssrn.com/author=16042), and other researchers at Northwestern, Medical College of Wisconsin, and George Washington University on empirical health economics and policy projects. An initial project involves large-scale randomized antibody testing for COVID-19 in Milwaukee, to be used to estimate the population infection rate and progression from infection to hospitalization or death, as a function of personal and demographic factors.

This is a two year, full-time appointment with competitive stipend and benefits.
Opportunities include:
Working closely with Prof Black and other experienced researchers on the design and conduct of empirical research projects – both your own projects and joint projects;
Having sufficient unallocated time to complete research projects begun during your PhD work;
Bringing research projects through to academic publication;
Working with experienced investigators to prepare grant applications.

Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D completion by 2020;
Proficiency with Stata, SAS, or similar statistical software programs.
