The Department of Economics is seeking to hire two, part-time, non-tenure-track faculty members, each to teach three undergraduate classes over the academic year in introductory and/or intermediate (principally micro) economics. This appointment will begin September 1, 2021, will be for two semesters in duration, and may be renewable. Compensation is governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) governing part-time faculty employment and includes eligibility for health, dental, vision, and insurance benefits. The Tufts Economics Department is dedicated to effective teaching that both recognizes the diversity of student experiences and that is committed to an inclusive and as equitable a learning experience as possible.

All candidates are expected to possess a Ph.D. or to complete their Ph.D. by September 1, 2021. Qualified candidates will possess evidence of successful teaching and will demonstrate expertise in the area of undergraduate microeconomics.
