The Tulane University Economics Department and the Murphy Institute of Political Economy invite applications for a postdoctoral position to begin in fall 2021. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics or closely related fields by fall 2021. We are seeking an individual whose research area is in or is closely related to the economics of discrimination. Candidates with background in audit field experiments are preferred. The postdoctoral scholar would be supervised and mentored by Professor Patrick Button. The successful candidate will teach one course at the undergraduate level annually and is expected to participate actively in research, seminars and other activities at the Economics Department and the Murphy Institute. Applications will be accepted through February 28, 2021. The appointment is for two years only.
