Assistant Professor of Decision Science

H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University is seeking 1-2 full-time, faculty members to be hired at the Assistant Professor level. Qualified candidates will hold a PhD or equivalent and will be equipped to contribute to teaching, research, and service in health economics and in related disciplines. 

Preference will be given to candidates who have already begun to establish a track record of publishing in top tier journals and/or who have significant professional experience in any of health economics, decision sciences, or data analytics. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in the sub-areas of population health, medicine, and health systems.

Nova Southeastern University was recently ranked in the top 150 by U.S. News, and, in so doing, we have made a concerted effort to attract excellent researchers and teachers to our ranks. Strong candidates are additionally expected to show the capacity to quickly establish and maintain an active, extramurally funded, original research program as an independent investigator. This research program should be interdisciplinary in nature, with a particular focus on collaborations with individuals in biomedical sciences, population health, or social sciences. 

This position represents a tremendous opportunity in an expanding and highly collaborative research environment. The position will start in August 2021, and it will remain open until filled.
