The Public Policy Program at William & Mary, a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, invites applications for a 9 month, non-tenure-track lecturer position that will begin August 10, 2021. We seek an individual with expertise in public policy, either from a theoretical or applied perspective, to teach introductory level courses for undergraduates as well as intermediate and advanced levels that align with the candidate’s interests and serve undergraduate (B.A. Public Policy) and Master in Public Policy (MPP) students. The position carries a 3-3 teaching load and successful candidates will have a commitment to high quality teaching.
Required: candidates with a Ph.D. at the time appointment begins. Ph.D. degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or Economics or candidates from other disciplines with significant professional experience in the field of public policy at the time appointment begins.
Previous academic teaching experience is preferred.
