Economics: Assistant Teaching Professor or Assistant Lecturer to teach undergraduate economics; to advise students; and to provide service to students and the institution beginning August 2021. The economics department at Miami University is housed in the Farmer School of Business, but has majors in both the Farmer School of Business and the College of Arts and Science.

Required: Ph.D in Economics for appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor by date of appointment or Master’s degree for appointment as Assistant Lecturer.

Consideration may be given to candidates with a commitment to excellence in teaching high quality courses in Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Money and Banking, and upper-level courses; commitment to excellence in teaching large sections of each course (Principles, Money and Banking); commitment to pedagogic innovation; or demonstrated enthusiasm for undertaking student-centered service responsibilities such as academic and extracurricular advising; student advising experience.
