The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer in Economics positions to begin August 1, 2021. This one-year appointment is renewable each year given satisfactory performance and budget.

Applicants must minimally have a Master’s degree with appropriate coursework in Economics, or preferably, have a Ph.D. in Economics (or closely-related field) or be in the ABD stage of their doctoral studies. Demonstrated ability to provide instruction in a variety of modalities (including online) either through graduate studies, training, or experience, is also required.

The main teaching responsibilities is four classes per semester: Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics courses, and other economics courses. In addition to teaching, the selected candidate is required to actively participate in professional activities sufficient to maintain appropriate qualifications under AACSB standards.
