Development Economics Department at Doha Institute for Graduate Studies invites applications for an open rank position in all areas of economics relevant to development; including sustainable development, labor economics, applied development, poverty and inequalities, and international trade and finance.

DI is a non-profit independent institute that responds to the needs of the Arab region by integrating graduate teaching and learning with scientific research in the Social Sciences, Humanities, Public Administration, and Development Economics.

Candidates are expected to teach two graduate courses per semester and perform research in their specialized areas of interest. Candidates should show evidence of research excellence and a commitment to quality teaching at the graduate level. The minimum educational requirement
is a Ph.D. in economics or any related field, Please note that the Ph.D. requirement must be fulfilled by July 1, 2021
