The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation—the world’s top-ranked science and technology policy think tank—seeks a research policy analyst to conduct research and engage in policy debates on issues related to antitrust and competition policy, with a particular focus on technological innovation. The analyst will conduct research and author reports and op-eds.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze policy developments and engage in public debates on antitrust and technology issues of the day.
• Carry out economic research and communicate findings by writing clear policy reports, op-eds, blogs, and other publications.
• Represent ITIF as a public speaker at conferences and other events.
Qualifications:
• At least five years’ experience in economics or antitrust policy, with experience conducting analysis of market structure and performance.
• Proven track record of producing high-quality research outputs, policy reports, op-eds, or other forms of policy-oriented communication.
• Advanced degree in economics, or political economy, with courses on industrial organization and other related economics areas.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial organization economics, microeconomic analysis, and the history of U.S. antitrust law and policy.
