The fellowship is part of the Belmont University Fellows Program, a post-doctoral teaching and research program that provides a comprehensive, university-level teaching and research experience with a Belmont faculty member mentor. Candidates who have completed a PhD or who are late-stage ABD by June 2021 from an AACSB-accredited university are invited to apply. The Fellow will be paired with a Faculty Mentor who will provide guidance and supervision in matters related to teaching and research. Fellows and Mentors will also participate in general Teaching Center activities available to all faculty.

The successful candidate will teach two but no more than three courses a semester and is expected to provide quality teaching of principles courses in economics and/or finance. Upper-level and graduate-level instruction may also be available. The candidate is expected to develop and maintain a focused research agenda.
