The Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center (GFLEC) is dedicated to advancing research and solutions that open the door to universal financial literacy and well-being. In working toward that vision, GFLEC, housed within the George Washington University School of Business, has positioned itself as the world’s leading incubator for financial literacy research, policy, and solutions. GFLEC has pioneered breakthrough tools to measure financial literacy, spearheaded the research field, developed and advised on educational programs, and crafted policy guidelines aimed at advancing financial knowledge in the U.S. and globally.

The Post-Doc plays a substantive role in planning and conducting research by using quantitative and qualitative methods to collect, analyze and report data activities. In collaboration with the PI, this role will participate in the planning of research, analyze and interpret data; publish results, present at conferences and meetings; and contribute to the formulation and implementation of research strategies. S/he will coordinate multiple research projects and assist with securing grant funding. This position may also lead and direct the work of lower level research staff.

Qualified candidates will hold a Doctoral degree in economics or a related discipline. Degree must be conferred by position start date.
