The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is seeking to fill a tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in economics or public policy to develop an innovative, highly recognized program of scholarly research and public outreach in health economics and other health policy relevant to Alaska. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a highly visible health research program, including the acquisition of external funding, with a focus on health economic and policy issues relevant to Alaska. The successful candidate is expected to disseminate their research through peer-reviewed journals and ISER's research publications, and communicate the policy implications of their research to leaders in healthcare, policy makers, journalists, and the public. ISER faculty have research-heavy workloads and typically teach up to one class per semester.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in economics, public policy, or a closely related field by date of hire.
