The Department of Economics at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles invites applications for a one-year post-doctoral fellowship in applied microeconomics. The fellowship provides an opportunity for new Ph.D.’s to focus on developing a strong applied microeconomics research program in a stimulating collegial environment alongside the economics faculty. This position may also be particularly well-suited for candidates who are attracted by the opportunity to develop their research portfolio before starting a tenure-track position elsewhere. In addition to research, the successful candidate is expected to teach one applied microeconomics Ph.D. course and to participate in the intellectual life of the department.
Applicants must have received their Ph.D. within the last two years or at the latest by August 15, 2021, the start date of the position.
