The Department of Economics at the University at Albany, State University of New York, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in International Macroeconomics or Trade beginning fall 2021. Applicants for the assistant professor position must demonstrate their research potential as evidenced by research papers which we expect to be published in top-quality economics journals.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to research in International Macroeconomics or Trade or both. The potential to obtain external funding and to teach effectively at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels is required. A Ph.D. is required and the degree must be from a university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization.
