NYU Shanghai invites applications for an open rank position in Urban Studies. We seek candidates who have received training in a social science discipline and can conduct cutting-edging interdisciplinary research on a variety of urban issues, with a special interest in those whose research incorporates spatial analysis and/or urban data analytics. Preference will be given to those interested in conducting research relevant to the China/Asia context. The successful candidate will contribute to the curriculum development and join a growing interdisciplinary group of faculty and researchers in Urban Studies from the Social Sciences, Humanities, the Arts, Data Science, and Engineering at NYU Shanghai.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, statement of research, statement of teaching interests, and electronic copies of up to three relevant publications or writing samples via Interfolio.
