The Department of Economics and Business at Gordon College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant, associate, or full professor appointment with an emphasis in macroeconomics and international economics. Position to begin August 2021. Rank commensurate with experience.

Principal teaching responsibilities will include courses such as principles of macroeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, international economics, economic development, and finance. The ideal candidate also would be able to teach principles of microeconomics. The teaching load is 4-4. Faculty responsibilities include advising students, assisting with the department’s senior honors research program, service on college committees, and research.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Ph.D. in Economics by the time of appointment (ABD will be considered)
• Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching
• Evidence of or the potential for a promising publication record
• A personal commitment to the Christian mission of the college and the integration of faith and learning
