The Department of Economics in Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University has an opening for an open-rank, Professor of Professional Practice beginning Fall 2021. The position is designed for seven three credit hour sections per year; however, if the candidate takes on a significant service role, the teaching load will be reduced to six classes per year. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics. The teaching assignments of this position include, but are not limited to, undergraduate and graduate Micro/Applied Microeconomics as applied to IO, Labor, Energy, Environmental, Managerial or Mathematical Economics. The appointment is for three years and will be renewed based on maintenance of qualifications, teaching excellence, and professionalism. The successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equity in education through their scholarship, teaching, and/or service.
