Subject to final approval by the Office of The Provost, The Department of Economics at the Villanova School of Business seeks to fill a tenure track position in Economics beginning Fall 2021 at the rank of Assistant Professor, with the rank of Associate Professor considered for candidates with outstanding qualifications and experience.

We are seeking a behavioral economist who is also experienced in designing and conducting experiments.

Faculty can conduct human subjects experiments at our Laboratory for the Advancement of Interdisciplinary Research (LAIR) using our existing pool of Villanova School of Business undergraduates. Built in 2018, the LAIR is equipped with a set of laptops for subjects to use during their decision-making. Additional features of the lab include eye-tracking hardware and software, audio and video recording equipment, speakers for playing audio, two monitors for showing videos, and a researcher control room overlooking the subjects' room. Chairs, desks and privacy partitions are also moveable, allowing for physical layouts that are ideal for not only standard experiments, but additional forms of data-collection as well, such as focus groups.
