The Economics Department at Dickinson College invites applications for an Assistant Professor tenure track position, beginning Fall 2021. Candidates should have already earned, or be near completion of, a Ph.D. in economics or related field. Dickinson is a liberal arts college emphasizing excellence in teaching and research. The ability to create inclusive learning environments for a diverse student body and demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching are important characteristics of the successful candidate. Teaching responsibilities include intermediate and introductory macroeconomics, econometrics, and upper-level electives, which may include, but are not limited to, international economics, monetary economics, and mathematical economics. Potential for research in these or related fields is expected. The annual teaching load is five courses. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
