Assistant Teaching Professor in Economics

The Pennsylvania State University - Abington College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in Economics to begin in August 2021 This is a one-year, fixed-term renewable appointment. The successful candidate is expected to be able to teach a range of courses in Economics, including Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and upper division courses to serve in its Business majors. The teaching load is 4 courses each semester. The faculty member will have advising responsibilities and be expected to contribute to the college community through service activities. Opportunities for professional development and promotion are available and will be supported.

To be eligible for this position candidates must hold a PhD or have ABD status in Economics. Prior college teaching experience is strongly preferred.
